why buy a bottle when you need just a pinch?

Sometimes all I need is a pinch.

Not just when I lose touch with reality, but when trying out new recipes.

I used to find myself at a variety of supposedly super markets wondering why I had to buy a $5-$12 glass bottle when all I needed was a 1/4 tsp.

No more.

With their massive wall of herbs, teas and spices home cooks and bakers can now partake in the kind of weighing and bagging fun once reserved for neighborhood dimebag dealers.

It's easy to get lost in Limbo for hours stocking up. A little celery salt, some cumin seed, chili powder, fleur-de-sel, sel gris, elderberry, carab, eye of newt, scale of dragon, cinnamon, paprika.....and yeah this isn't an accurate listing, it's definitely a "go see it yourself" kind of thing. And when you aren't imagining yourself digging through Severus Snape's office, try picturing Blackalicious front man Gift of Gab dropping the alphabetically organized herb names "A to the G" style.

There's something genius about this place in that they carry what adjacent TJ's does not. In fact every TJ's should have such a symbiotic relationship. Fresh produce, gourmet coffee, extensive Bob's Red Mill selection, it's beautiful.

I'd write more, but there's not much left to say other than "Go" (plus until blogging starts paying my bills #pipedream, I suppose I should actually go to work).
