hi my name is josh?, and i'm addicted to brazilian bean juice

I'll keep this short.

No tour of Portland coffee would be complete without a stop at Spella Caffe.

Andrea and crew rock the fully manual espresso turntables, dishing out shots and cappuccinos of ridiculous smoothness and beauty.

Fresh roasted Brazilian beans, gorgeous properly prepared chai, all served with healthy doses of genuine friendliness and coffee passion, it's little surprise that this cart has an almost planetary gravitational pull on me whenever I'm anywhere near downtown.

And while I'll always prefer (even when raining) standing on the corner of SW 9th and Alder, Spella's new brick and mortar coffee counter is a convenient stop for those near SW5th. Same great service. Same great bean juice.

Now if only he'd open one in Sellwood.

  3. @Jenny Thanks Jenny! You'll have to work on convincing Andrea to open up a little spot across the river.

@Todd, well put. I suppose I'm also a Spella freak.
