a vista that doesn't suck
There upon the Rocky Butte I stood
A jacketed photog from a SE hood
Gazing out through low stone arch
Outside remained while throat did parch
Dreams of castles filled my brain
Invading armies and evil reigns
Wizards, warlocks, dragons too
Imagination soaring against sky blue
Fortress of solitude, of macro composition
Quiet interrupted by hungry disposition
Across the gorgeous gorge I once more glanced
Before sadly departing this escapist trance

I love these pictures you took, I wish I was there right now. Did you also write that poem? How beautiful and appropiate given what was before you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Krista. Where are you? I didn't feel like a normal write up and that's what came out.
ReplyDeleteI found you on Yelp :) You got skillz!!!
