bad site for a chocoholics anonymous meeting

"Surely," my friend typed in a later FB chat "heaven would probably include drinkable chocolate and never ending Harry Potter conversations?"

"At least us wizards think so, don't know bout the muggles" I replied.

She had found her happy place here in Portland, and certainly this has been one of mine.
$2 drinkable chocolate shots, three different flavors!

Where else could you do 4 shots for $8? (two each, in case you were curious, one btw is more than rich enough).

Cinnamon - Liked the flavor combination, slightly sweet but not too much so.
Pure Dark - There's nothing like the pure stuff
Spicy Dark - I thought this would be my favorite, but it never felt like the pairing meshed well. Enjoyable, but I definitely liked the Pure Dark better.

Sitting there talking over drinkable chocolate made me reminisce about Europe (though I don't recall actually doing this there, it just felt European) There's a great commercial that addresses this at http://www.downtownportland.org/index.asp (Watch "PDX vs Europe" and there's actually one about Cacao there as well).

Cacao's definitely a delectable pit stop on my Portland in a day tour (maybe I'll make a list)...it's the perfect follow up to browsing that "little" bookstore on the corner of Burnside and 10th.

Oh yeah, they also sell a nice variety of high quality chocolate.
